Rory Nugent, Managing Director
Mr. Nugent is a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record of successful business creation and management. He brings nearly a decade of professional services experience to Forbes Technical Consulting. Mr. Nugent is President and Founder of Shoreline Resource Group LLC (Shoreline), a successful nationwide IT staffing service that was launched in 2003. Previously, he held leadership positions at well-known IT consulting firms where he opened new offices, negotiated vendor and client contracts, created new lines of business, managed dozens of vendors and formed a joint venture with another IT consulting firm.

Mr. Nugent worked as a member of the White House National Advance Staff from 1997 - 2000. In this role, he coordinated event logistics for official and political events on behalf of the President, Vice President and the First Lady, provided detailed briefings to event participants and served as liaison to White House Staff and local and state officials. He has continued throughout his professional career to travel with and for national political figures to coordinate event logistics.

While attending Illinois Wesleyan University, Mr. Nugent was selected to participate in the Washington Semester Program at American University in Washington, DC. After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Mr. Nugent earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in Chicago, IL. He remains a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois.

Mr. Nugent lives in Chicago with his wife Samantha and three children. Mr. Nugent is active in local and national politics and an avid sports fan.

Ms. Ann Marie Mahoney, Director of Sales
Ms. Mahoney joined Forbes Technical Consulting as Director of Sales in 2009. She comes to Forbes from Grow Corporation, where she held the title of Managing Partner. She brings over 20 years of sales and recruiting experience with a focus in Information Technology.

Ann Marie has held leadership positions at various firms where she has excelled in client development. Ann Marie has a proven history of driving business initiatives and succeeding at all levels. Ms. Mahoney has opened and managed such Chicagoland accounts as the Wm. Wrigley Company, Walgreens, The Northern Trust, Orbitz, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. A President’s Club recipient for sales excellence, Ms. Mahoney has an affinity for networking and connecting people and is excited to be a part of the Forbes’ Team.

Ann Marie holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and an MBA from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business, Kalamazoo, MI.

Ann Marie, her husband and two children reside in Chicago, IL.

Ashley Jones, Senior Recruiting Consultant
Ms. Jones joined Forbes Technical Consulting as Office and Recruiting Administrator in 2006 and transitioned into the role of Recruiting Consultant in 2007. In her role, she is responsible for Client Development and Candidate Recruitment. She also works closely with the firm’s outside vendors to structure searches and ensure their timely completion. Her ability to relate and communicate effectively and professionally has proven to be a valued contribution to not only her organization, but also to her candidates and clients. Her highly developed organizational skills and drive for excellence will be sure to assist candidates on the path to a great career. Prior to Forbes, she had two internships at the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office in Child Support Enforcement and BroMenn Healthcare’s Human Resources Department. Ms. Jones is a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. degree in Management-Human Resources. She is a member of the Global Business Analysts Group.

Brian Easter, Senior Recruiting Consultant
Mr. Easter joined Forbes Technical Consulting as Senior Recruiting Consultant in 2010. He began his professional career in business development at Eastman Kodak and later with Ameritech. Prior to joining Forbes, Brian worked as an Account and Recruiting Manager for Ajilon Consulting. His focus is working with Project Management, Infrastructure, Application Development, Quality Assurance and Testing, and Helpdesk professionals. Brian is a dedicated recruiter who takes pride in understanding what the client needs and finding the best resource by using various internet and social networking tools. He truly cares about his clients and consultants. Brian is an avid sports fan who enjoys reading, history, current events and community involvement. He received his BA in Industrial Marketing and is a proud graduate of Western Michigan University.

Sara Dutil, Accounting and Payroll Manager
Mrs. Dutil joined Forbes Technical Consulting as a Accounting and Payroll Manager in 2007. She spent 3 years working as the Office Manager for Beitler Real Estate, where she gained experience in many facets of Office Administration, including Customer Service and Accounting. Currently, she provides a highly professional and organized approach to the coordination and processing of benefits and payroll for both consultants and internal employees at FTC. Mrs. Dutil received her Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University.

Aleta Giordano Ross, Recruiting Consultant
Mrs. Giordano Ross joined Forbes Technical Consulting as Recruiting Consultant in 2008. She earned a B.S. in Arts Administration from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She held positions in Arts Management at the Ravinia Festival and Young Audiences of Indiana before she discovered her true passion – recruiting. With established success in the industry, she is an expert in identifying client needs and maintaining candidate and client relationships. Mrs. Giordano Ross' varied experience in Sales, Customer Service, and Not-for-profit Management allows her to offer a competitive and passionate drive when matching the perfect candidate with the mission and values of each client.  She is a member of the Professional Project Managers Networking Group.

Brandon Amick, Inside Sales and Recruiting Consultant
Mr. Amick joined Forbes Technical Consulting as an Inside Sales and Recruiting Consultant in 2011. Brandon excels at fostering and developing client relationships. Mr. Amick understands what a client needs and is able to deliver a high degree of service. Brandon began his professional career with The Sherwin-Williams Company in South Carolina as an Assistant Store Manager and was quickly promoted to a Manager position before moving to Chicago. Mr. Amick is a proud graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, SC. He graduated in 2007 with a BS in Management with an emphasis in Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Brandon enjoys being outdoors, vacationing on Lake Murray, reading, architecture and college football (Go Tigers!).

Shelley Piontek, Recruiting Consultant
Ms. Piontek joined Forbes Technical Consulting as a Recruiting Consultant in 2011. Prior to her joining FTC, Shelley enjoyed three years in the television industry, first recruiting for NBC Universal and then working in advertising sales for CBS Television Network. Her ability to easily connect with people of diverse backgrounds helps her make successful and lasting connections with clients and candidates. Ms. Piontek earned her Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is involved with several Chicago-based organizations, including Imerman Angels and Network After Work.

Caroline Hutchings, Office Manager
Ms. Hutchings joined Forbes Technical Consulting as Office Manager in 2011 when she moved to Chicago from Phoenix, AZ. She attended Northern Arizona University on a grades-based tuition waiver and worked for two years as an Administrative Assistant at Liberty Wire and Cable before taking on the role of Employment Services Assistant for the non-profit company The Centers for Habilitation. Caroline spent five years with TCH, empowering adults with developmental disabilities in a sheltered work center. She is passionate about providing our clients and consultants with superb service and making sure the FTC team has everything they need to be the best.
